Roommate Steals, Uses Friend's Credit Card
A man steals a credit card from one of his roommates.
A man living in the 200 block of Lyceum Ave. found out his roommate stole his credit card and tried to use it after his credit card company called him about a suspicious $600 purchase.
According to police, a man living in the 200 block of Lyceum Avenue received a phone call from his credit card company on Dec. 21 about a series of purchases made with his credit card.
The credit card company was able to stop a $600 purchase; however, it was unable to stop a $30 purchase at 7-Eleven.
Police later checked security footage at the 7-Eleven that revealed that it was the man's roommate who had stolen the credit card.
