Woman Says She Was Attacked by Bedbugs at Local Movie Theater
Sabrina Hammond of East Germantown said she was attacked by bedbugs at United Artists Main Street Theatre 6 in Manayunk.
A woman has sued a Manayunk movie theater because she was “aggressively attacked” by bedbugs while enjoying a film there, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The publication reported that Sabrina Hammond of East Germantown has sued United Artists Main Street Theatre 6 because of medical issues she said she suffered after getting attacked by bedbegs in September 2013.
The lawsuit was filed in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. The suit says she suffered injuries to her head, body and extremities as a result of the bedbug attack, according to the Inquirer.
