Woman Steals Pacemakers, Police Say

Witnesses observed a woman steal a package from the front porch of a home in the 600 block of Seville Street on May 16.

The package contained two pacemakers, police said.

FedEx delivered a large gray package to the home at approximately 6:40 p.m., police said.

A woman who lives across the street witnessed another woman steal the package from the porch, police said.

The neighbor obtained the license plate number of the vehicle owned by the woman who took the package, police said.

Police then used the plate information to track down the owner of the vehicle who police say was in possession of the stolen pacemakers.

Police recovered the pacemakers and arrested the woman.
