Attorney General Appeals Decision in Rep. Cherelle Parker's DUI Case

A petition was filed Tuesday, according to a report on Philly.com.

The state Attorney General's office has appealed Judge Charles Hayden's decision to suppress evidence in the drunken driving case against state Rep. Cherelle Parker, an article on Philly.com said. 

The petition, that was filed Tuesday in Common Pleas Court, also appeals the judge's refusal to recuse himself despite being Facebook friends with the defendant, the article continued. 

Deputy Attorney General John Flannery said that the officers' testimony was credible and that Parker's testimony "was completely incredible."
