City to Review 32 Roxborough Houses Plan

City Planning Commission will evaluate creation of Kingsley Court, houses.

If Tuesday's hearing goes well, a plan to build 32 twin homes in Roxborough will get closer to fruition.

The Philadelphia City Planning Commission will evaluate Stephen Goldner's plan to build 32 homes at the abandoned Ivy Ridge Assisted Living at 5627 Ridge Ave. A major development for Roxborough, the plan would create a cul-de-sac, the new city street Kingsley Court, on the 3.2 acres.

However, Civic President Andrew Bantly has continually stated the group prior to taking an official stance. He indicated the group would most likely support Goldner's plan, but wanted to avoided rubber stamping it too early.

Brian Wenrich will present Goldner's plan Tuesday. The City Planning Commission begins its April 17 meeting at 1 p.m. One Parkway Building, 1515 Arch St., 18th Floor.
