DeLissio to Hold Town Halls in July

The state rep. announces quarterly meetings.

Continuing her string of quarterly town hall meetings, state Rep. Pam DeLissio (D-194) announced dates and locations for July meetings.

DeLissio, a freshman lawmaker, represents parts of Roxborough, Manayunk, Bala Cynwyd and Belmont Hills as part of the 194th district.

"The focus of these meetings will be property tax reform and education funding, including vouchers and charter schools. These issues will continue to be the focus of legislative initiatives in Harrisburg. Of course my constituents will also have the chance to talk about whatever concerns them," DeLissio said in a news release.

"Often public policy is set in Harrisburg and it is my job to help the citizens of the 194th understand how policy affects their everyday lives."

DeLissio is running for reelection against Republican Linda Wolfe-Bateman, who .

The meetings will be:

  • July 19, Wolfington Teletorium, Mandeville Hall, St. Joseph's University (entrance from the parking lot on 54th Street, off City Avenue)
  • July 24, Wolcoff Auditorium, , 5800 Ridge Ave. 

Both meetings start at 7 p.m.
