Developers Considering Adding 15 Houses to Terrace Street

The Wissahickon Neighbors Civic Association considered a plan that would add 15 homes to the 3800 block of Terrace Street.

The Wissahickon Neighbors Civic Association discussed a plan on Monday that calls for 15 houses to be constructed in the 3800 block of Terrace Street.

The plan calls for the demolition of Terrace Hall, and 15 homes constructed on that lot.

A previous plan had called for 50 condos to be constructed on that lot.

Under the current proposal, nine houses would be built with frontage on Terrace Street, and six houses would have frontage on Sharp Street.

The proposal also calls for the elimination of 10 parking spots on Terrace Street for driveway curb cuts and two parking spots on Sharp Street.

Under the current proposal, each house would have no more than three bedrooms and each house would have a roof deck.
