PA Voter Registration Deadline Pushed Back a Day

Because of a conflict with Columbus Day, the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 general election was moved to Oct. 11.

Election season is upon us, but before you try to get out the vote, don’t forget to get out the registration. This year you've got an extra day to do it.

Because of a conflict with Columbus Day, the deadline to register to vote in Pennsylvania’s off-year general election has been moved back a day, to Oct. 11.

Adults who have been residents of the United States, Pennsylvania, and their registration district for at least 30 days prior to the Nov. 8 vote are eligible to register. Also, anyone who has changed their name or address since they last voted is advised to re-register.
