Ridge Park Civic Holding Fundraiser This Thursday

The Ridge Park Civic Association will hold a fundraiser and membership drive at the Adobe Cafe on Thursday, Jan. 30.

The Ridge Park Civic Association deals with local concerns in the neighborhoods surrounded by on the East side of Ridge Avenue from the South side of Hermitage Street to the South side of Domino Lane and Fountain with a boundary of the Wissahickon Creek, and on the West side of Ridge Avenue from Hermitage Street to Harmon Road and down the hill to Umbria Street between Leverington and Domino (to include Canton Street) with a boundary of the Schuylkill River.

“We need you to take a minute and join with us to make our neighborhood better,” said Ridge Park Civic Patti Brennan.  “RPCA is a community organization dedicated to improving the lives of residents within our boundaries. We have worked closely with our elected officials and surrounding neighborhood associations to improve the quality of life in our community and we’d love to have your help and input.”

To further the cause, the Ridge Park Civic Association will be holding a fundraiser at the Adobe Café on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 4-10 p.m.

“We assist in many community concerns such as but not limited to abandoned cars, illegal rentals, that empty lot across the street or down the street from you that could be snapped up for development or any issue that may affect your quality of life,” Brennan said.

The meetings of the RPCA are quarterly, they meet the first Thursday of
March, June, September and December at 7 p.m. at the 5th Police District located at 6666 Ridge Ave.
