Shawmont Civic to Talk Expansion

The group is also planning to discuss new home construction.

The Residents of Shawmont Valley Association plans to discuss expanding its borders at its meeting on Tuesday, according to a release from the civic association.

According to the group's agenda for its upcoming meeting on January 22, the group will discuss working with Helene Rodgers to expand its boundaries to include the Dearnley Park neighborhood.

The group also plans to discuss new homes being built on Shawmont and Nixon streets.

In addition, the meeting will cover land conservation efforts, traffic safety concerns, and sidewalk and driveway concerns on Eva Street in Roxborough.

The meeting is schedule for 6:30 p.m. at the Andorra Library on Tuesday, January 22.
