I was right, my Mom is a Superhero

There is not nearly enough space or time to explain why my mom, Mary is the best. I used to always wonder how my mom did it all when we were kids...and now that I am an adult, i am quite sure I was correct she is a superhero. as a child, despite working full-time and traveling, she never missed a holiday party, field trip, or class event as a homeroom mom helper. She also never allowed me to have a late library book, unhealthy school lunch, or get into trouble i shouldn't be (all things I didn't appreciate at the time). She also managed to plan the best birthday parties, most of which people still recall and talk about 20 yeard later. I'm 31 now (I wouldnt dare disclose her age), but not a day goes by where she doesn't listen to my problems, stories, jokes, or anything else, even though i know it's the last thing she wants to do. She is the most amazing caregiver to my 7pound dog, and is always willing to watch her when I travel for work. I know she is special because my dog (who is very fussy) loves my mom more than me. you would hace trouble finding a women who while working full time and making sure her husband and kids are always taken care of, is less selfless than her. She puts everyone before herself and always has....if I am just like her when I become a mom my kids will be very very lucky!
