AN EVENING WITH RACHEL SIMMONS

Rachel Simmons, acclaimed bestselling author of The Curse of the Good Girl, Odd Girl Out, and Odd Girl Speaks Out, will be visiting Springside on Thursday, March 17, 2011  for an evening presentation  in the Upper School Auditorium at 7:30pm.

"Rachel Simmons is an author, educator and coach helping girls and young women grow into authentic, emotionally intelligent and assertive adults.  Rachel is an in-demand speaker and facilitator who offers keynote speeches and workshops for parents, educational professionals, clinicians and young people.  Programs are research-based and focus on providing practical take-home strategies for participants.  Renowned for her down-to-earth, warm speaking style, Rachel delivers rich content and cutting edge insight." She has appeared in numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, CNN, the CBS Early Show, Northeast Public Radio and more.  She is also the co-founder of the Girls Leadership Institute. “The Girls Leadership Institute inspires girls to be true to themselves.
