Home School Class: Insects

What makes an insect and insect? Is a caterpillar an insect? How about a spider? We'll answer these questions and more as we study the largest, most diverse group of animals on our planet. We'll spend the first part of class learning about insects and looking at The Center's many preserved specimins, and then we'll head outside to find some of the insects living at The Schuylkill Center. For homeschooled students ages 6-9 years.
