Nature for the Young: The Pumpkin Patch
With Halloween and harvest time in full swing, there are pumpkins and gourds everywhere! But where did they come from? Join us as we get the 'inside scoop' on pumpkins. We will excavate a pumpkin to learn about its seeds, and then hunt outside for different kinds of seeds. Children will love making and taking home seed mosaics. For young naturalists to be ages 3-5 years AND their parents and caregivers. 10:30am-11:30am and 2:00pm-3:00pm.
