School District of Philadelphia schools will close early again Thursday because of heat conditions.
The schools will close at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. They are .
"The coupled by the high humidity levels could create a situation in which heat illness is possible," a news release from the school district read.

Early childhood programs will also close early. Normal transportation services will begin at 1:30 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning through 8 p.m. Thursday. Heat index values could reach 100 degrees during that time.
