Accomplishment: Successful soccer player with the Roxborough Indians

Key To Awesomeness: As Tyler’s mom, Leigh Ganloff tells it, her son’s awesomeness can be traced to the fact that he comes across as virtually indestructible at his young age.

While most youngsters are influenced by peers, Tyler is self-reliant.

“He does his own thing, and doesn’t let anything get in his way,” she said. “He just rolls with the punches.”

This isn’t to say Tyler isn’t a team player; on the contrary, he’s a great team asset to the Indians, his mom said.

Tyler has never won any type of championship in his two years playing soccer, but he has won the hearts of fellow teammates and parents, Leigh said.

He also has drive and determination, remarkable traits for a boy so young.

“He says he wants to play [soccer] for his whole life,” Tyler’s mom said.
