Local Schools Battle at the Penn Relays

Several local schools did well at this past weekend's Penn Relays.

Several local high schools participated in this weekend's Penn Relays.  Here are how some of the school's fared in a couple of events provided by the Penn Relays website.

Roxborough High School only competed in one event: the boys' 4x100 relay for small schools where Roxborough finished 97 out of 262.  The members of that team are: Hank Adens, Eddington Wright, Joseph Parker, Tyreek Booe.

William Penn Charter won the boys 4x400 Inter-Ac.  The members of the team are: James Biggs-Frazier, Charlie Hoyt, Tre Williams, Darryl Worley.

Germantown High School's best finish was in the girls' 4x400 relay for the Philadelphia public schools.  That team finished fourth, and the team members are: Jahneya Mitchell, Savannah Patterson, Zipporah Brooks, Kayla Foster.

The Germantown High boys also finished 14 in the 4x400 relay for the Philadelphia public schools.

Springside Chestnut Hill Academy finished second in the Prep School 4x400 relay.  The members of the team are: Drew Davis, Bridget Lipp, Julia Reeves, Brooklynn Broadwater.

Martin Luther King High School's best finish was 19 in the 4x400 relay for the Philadelphia public schools. The members of that team are: Khaleel Stewart, Shareef Stewart, Isaiah Perry, Shaquille Haye.

The Germanton Friends girls' distance medley finished second in the competition.  The members of the team are (with their splits in parenthesis): Sarah Walker (3:35.6), Taryn Milbourne (58.2), Brigit Andersson (2:22.6), Eliza Lukens-Day (4:59.6).

Imhotep Charter won the Philadelphia Boy's Public 4x400 relay.  Members of that team are: Donaldo Benjamin, Brandon Smith, Robert Allen, James Keith.
