Open House, Civic Meetings in Roxborough this Week

Here's what's going on this week in the Roxborough and Manayunk area.

Open House: On Tuesday, October 8, at 8:30 a.m., Springside Chestnut Hill Academy will host an open house.  Here's how they describe the event: "The best way to learn about Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is to visit the school during the school day! Join us for Inside SCH, an intimate Open House forum that enables families to visit classrooms and engage in discussions with school leaders. Space is limited, so please email kmersky@sch.org to reserve your space today." 

Upper Roxborough Civic Association: Meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month Roxborough Presbyterian Church. Their next meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m.

Wissahickon Interested Citizens Association: Meets at 7 p.m. every second Wednesday of the month at Northern Home for Children, 5301 Ridge Avenue Roxborough.  Their next meeting will be on Oct. 9.
