Week Ahead: Movie, Food Tours and Farmers Market

Here's what's going on in the Roxborough-Manayunk area this week.

Here are some things to look at for this week.

Movie ScreeningGorgas Park will host a screening of the film "Wreck It Ralph" on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 7:45 p.m.  The screening is free and open to everyone.

Dance Studio Open HouseMerge Dance Studio will host an open house on Wednesday, August 28 at 5 p.m. at their studio located at 4047 Cresson St., 2nd Floor Rear, Philadelphia.  Here's how they describe the event: "Merge Dance Studio, "Where Dance and Fitness Merge, in Manayunk will be holding two open houses to allow everyone to come in to see their space, get fitted for and order dancewear, learn more about their classes, and to register for their fall session. The open house will be on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm. You may also register at anytime by mailing in your registration form and tuition. Merge Dance Studio provides professional dance and fitness instruction for ages 2 to adult and for all skill levels in the Manayunk area of Philadelphia, PA. Gorgas Park Farmers MarketEvery Friday Gorgas Park hosts a Farmers Market from 2-6 p.m.  There are all kinds of fresh produce, baked goods and other assorted sundries.  They also accept credit cards.
