Wendy's Hearing, Civics, Holiday Market This Week in Roxborough

Here's what's going on this week in Roxborough.

Wendy's Hearing: The zoning hearing for the proposed Wendy's at the corner of Ridge and Roxborough Avenues will be held on Wednesday at 12 p.m. at 1515 Arch St., Philadelphia on the 18th floor.  The hearing is open to the public.

Upper Roxborough Civic Association

Meeting Dates: Meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Wednesday of every month Roxborough Presbyterian Church.

Next Meeting: Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m.

Wissahickon Interested Citizens Association

Meeting Dates: Meets at 7 p.m. every second Wednesday of the month at Northern Home for Children, 5301 Ridge Avenue Roxborough.

Borders: Wissahickon Park, Ridge Avenue, Hermit Street, and Henry Avenue.     

Next Meeting: Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. 

Holiday Market and Bake Sale: On Thursday, November 14, at 8 p.m. Pilgrim Church, 3815 Terrace Street, Philadelphia will host a holiday market.  Here's how it's described: Come on out to our 2nd annual Holiday Market and Bake sale, hosted by Philly MOPs (mother's of preschoolers). In attendance will be your favorite local vendors like ThirtyOne, PamperedChef, Scentsy and many more. PLUS we have tons of local artisans selling their one of kind gifts.
