Flea Market, Festivals Top This Weekend's Events

There will be a flea market and two festivals in Roxborough this weekend.

Here's what's going on this weekend in Roxborough and Manayunk.

Flea Market and Craft Fair

Where/When: Saturday, October 5, 2013, 8 a.m. in Gorgas Park

Why Go: There will be a flea market in Gorgas Park on Saturday to benefit the Ridge Park Civic Association.  Everyone is invited to attend.

Pricing: Free to attend.

St. Francis Fest

Where/When: Saturday, October 5, 9 a.m. at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 5720 Ridge Avenue, Across from Roxborough Memorial Hospital

Why Go: All Day - Flea Market, Flower Sale, Book Sale, Crafts & Games, Delicious Food, Music & More! 
12:00 Noon - Blessing of the Animals
Pets of all types are welcome. Or bring a photograph of your pet to be blessed instead.

Roxtoberfest

Saturday, October 5, 2013, Noon at Lyceum & Ridge Ave, Philadelphia

Why Go: Roxtoberfest is almost upon us! Saturday, October 5th from noon till 6pm, nearly 60 local, regional, national, and international companies will be represented at Roxborough’s 1st Annual Fall Street Festival. The event will cater to all who attend, with live original and cover music by The Racer, Ginger Coyle, and GetAway Stranger. There will be a beer garden and beer sampling sponsored by Penn Distributors and The Foodery- Roxborough. Some of Philadelphia's BEST food trucks are participating and there will be PLENTY to do for the kids! There will be face painting, a dunk tank, carnival games, a jumping castle and a 30' INFLATABLE OBSTACLE COURSE!
