Lessons and Carols Service

St Alban will host a special church service on Sunday.  Here's how they describe it: "On Sunday, Dec. 15th at 7pm the Church of St. Alban will be celebrating an Advent service of Lessons and Carols.  This is a wonderful time to come and hear the promises of God spoken in  both the first and second Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ as given to us through the words of Holy Scripture. It is also a great time to gather and sing praises to our Lord using traditional Advent hymns. feel free to  join us for this time of worship and praise." 

Parents Holiday Shopping

Need time away from your children to get your last minute holiday shopping done? Merge Dance Studio in Manayunk is having a "Parents’ Holiday Shopping Day" to help you out! Bring your children to the studio on Sun., Dec. 15th from 1:00-4:00pm and they will be entertained with dancing, crafts, snacks, and games while you get your shopping done. This event is open to children ages 2 and up. Children do not need to be registered in a class at Merge Dance Studio to participate. Cost = $30.00 for first child, $15.00 for additional children.
