Manayunk Tree Lighting Tops This Weekend's Events

Manayunk will host a tree lighting ceremony, and there will also be a Holiday Bazaar at Green Lane Church.

Here's what's going on this weekend in Roxborough.

Tree Lighting CeremonySanta is coming to Manayunk Saturday December 7th, and they’re carving an ice sleigh just for him! See the live carving start at 3PM then get your picture taken on Santa’s lap when he arrives at 4PM. Enjoy live music by B101 and stay till it’s dark to enjoy the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony from 6PM-8PM!

Christmas Bazaar and Flea Market

Green Lane Church will host a Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 7.  Here's how they describe it: "VENDORS WANTED; $20 for a table prior, $25 day of. please call Bruce @ 215-303-0790 or email denisebratina@gmail.com Christmas Bazaar / Flea Market / Crafts & Santa - we have it all, and then some. PaperWorks Industries, Inc is collecting new and unwrapped toys for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program starting November 1st and ending December 7th. Interested parties, please drop off toys to the guardhouse in the designated box.

On December 7th, there will be an event featuring electronic waste recycling, document destruction, and a make-your-own-paper activity for the kids (or curious adults!). At that time, you may also bring a new, unwrapped toy.

Asking for the latest gadget for the Holidays this year? Come join PaperWorks Industries, Inc. and E-Waste Experts, Inc. to recycle your old electronics for
FREE! You don't even have to get out of your car!

Loose Batteries Large Electrical Appliances

We are a paperboard mill using 100% recycled fibers, so we are also allowing members of the community the rare opportunity to turn their unwanted paper directly into paperboard! 

We will have demonstrations to make your own paper!!
