Parade, Concert and Fireworks Part of Philly's July 4 Festivities

The 2014 Wawa Welcome America festival will culminate with a concert and fireworks Friday.

There’s plenty to celebrate in Philly on July 4. The 2014 Wawa Welcome America festival is underway and will culminate Friday with a parade, concert and fireworks.

However, the forecast is not looking ideal. Weather.com predicts a 70 percent chance of rain Friday and a flash flood watch has been issued through noon Friday. Forecasters estimate the rain will clear by the afternoon.

Event organizers said they will announce any weather-related cancellations via Twitter and Facebook.
