Philly Cycling Classic is Sunday
The route goes through Manayank, East Falls, Kelly Drive and Fairmount Park.
Bikers will be coming through the area in full force this weekend for the Philly Cycling Classic. The women’s race is Sunday morning, followed by the men’s race that afternoon.
The route goes through Manayank, East Falls, Kelly Drive and Fairmount Park. The winner of both the men's and women's races will receive $30,000.
The race finishes at the Manayunk Wall in Roxborough. The weather forecast looks good for Sunday, with The Weather Channel predicting sunshine and temperatures in the mid-70s.

This year, the event will include an amateur ride, the Velothon Philadelphia. The 45-kilometer Velothon Philadelphia will be the first US-based event in the International Cycling Union's Velothon Majors, race organizers announced.
