“Looking to make a little extra cash? We are in need of a few helpers for the StrEAT Food Festival on Saturday, April 12th. If you're free at all during the day let us know -- we would love the extra help! If interested contact Shannon at sgeddes@manayunk.org,” the post reads.

The festival will feature representation from some of the area’s favorite food trucks. Trucks serving everything from desserts to delicacies will line Main Street. Plus, local restaurants will have specials and seasonal treats. Retailers will be holding side walk sales and there will be live music.

“Look for farmers markets and gourmet food vendors in two of Main Street Manayunk's parking lots. Visitors may shop for homemade honeys, oils, spices, breads and other delicious items all made by local vendors. Food centric arts and crafts are also available in the market areas,” according to an announcement on Manayunk.com.

The festival kicks off Manayunk's Restaurant Week. Twenty-two local restaurants will participate in Restaurant Week, offering three-course menus from $15 to $35. Click here to view participating restaurants and menus.
