Weather Causes Rescheduling in Manayunk

The Mummers and Santa visits scheduled for Saturday in Manayunk have been rescheduled due to the weather forecast.

Saturday's forecast for snow has forced some of Saturday's holiday festivities in Manayunk to be rescheduled.

Here's an explanation from the Manayunk Development Corporation:

Editor's note: Sorry it's in all-caps.  That's how it was sent to me.

"DUE TO FORCASTED WEATHER CONDITIONS, ALL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES IN MANAYUNK SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY DECEMBER 14TH WILL BE RESCHEDULED TO SATURDAY DECEMBER 21ST. THIS INCLUDES: FREE TROLLEY RIDES, VISITS WITH SANTA, AND THE LIVE MUMMERS PERFORMANCE.

THE SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS IN MANAYUNK WILL STILL BE OPEN TOMORROW FOR ALL OF YOUR FINAL HOLIDAY SHOPPING NEEDS. JOIN US IN MANAYUNK ON SATURDAY THE 21ST TO ENJOY THESE RESCHEDULED ACTIVITIES ALONG WITH OUR SOLSTICE FIRE CELEBRATION."
