Mad River Manayunk is a bar and grill located at the corner of Shurs Lane and Main Street. This is a very large establishment, featuring multiple rooms and bars, as well as an outside seating area. Guests can choose to relax at the bar or come with a large group and sit in the gargantuan booths. Mad River features 27-inch televisions at each booth, in addition to the massive amount hanging on the walls in the general standing area. Its menu includes a mix of American bar cuisine, which features its signature deep fried pretzel bites. Perhaps the most sought after aspect of this bar is its massive selection of NFL games on Sunday. Fans of all teams are encouraged to come out and support their team (but obviously this is a place where the Eagles are favorites).
