Fortunately, this restaurant is 2 blocks away from me. When it opened as Tang Thai the food was reasonably priced and just...OK. Happy to get take out. Now that it has reopened under the Pho Hu..something, it is really good. I don't know what they improved but, it is certainly better. Recently, in heading there for Mother's Day, we had the Panang curry with chicken and Duck Pad Thai. The panang was excellent. Just the right amount of spice and loads of flavor.
Also, you can not beat there lunch special. Soup, appetizer, and a generously portioned entree for $10. Lots of food, great price, and they're always quick!
And as mentioned above their spicy beef salad is killer!

This family-run Thai restaurant opened in 2010 and has been receiving excellent reviews. Its Thai food has both flair in presentation and the spicy flavor of Thailand. Changed owners and is now called Pho Hu or something like that. Better than ever. Highly recommend.
The food here is good. The portions are decently sized so that you aren't paying for a whole bunch of food that's going to end up in the back of the fridge, and with that comes good prices. I'd say it's not quite as good as Thai to Go, but it's definitely up there, and more so I should say that the two restaurants are very different in their menu options. The aesthetic appeal of the place isn't too bad. It's decorated nicely and has unique character without following stereotypical styles that many other restaurants of this theme have. For being on Ridge Ave, the view isn't too bad, you can look out their large windows and watch the world go by while eating some good soup. Not a bad place at all, I just hope they can stay in business, for at least half a dozen other restaurants have failed in their location.
