Eating out with friends can be a problem when the group is split between vegetarians/vegans and omnivores. As a vegetarian, I usually get stuck at restaurants eating some variation of deep fried onions—onion rings, blooming onions, onion loaves—while my friends tend to be underwhelmed by whatever veggie alternatives I try throwing their way. Which is why Adobe Café makes such an ideal dining location. This Mexican restaurant caters to vegetarian/vegan needs while still taking care of those who crave carnes. Established in 1989, this 300-seat bar and grill boasts two bars, a gorgeous garden for outside dining and plenty of inside space as well.
