*ndulge is the name of the new cupcake and gelato shop coming to Manayunk.

Here's something to look forward to—a new cupcake and gelato shop is opening up in Main Street soon. The new shop is called *ndulge (indulge) and will be located at 4373 Main Street in Manayunk. According to its "coming soon" sign, *ndulge will feature gourmet cupcakes and homemade gelato. Are you excited for a new cupcake/gelato shop to open along Main Street? Tell us in the comments.

While Crossroads Coffee House in Roxborough often yields compliments for its brews, food and atmosphere, these kind words are often couched with a complaint—I wish it were open later. Hearing customers' thoughts, the shop at 6156 Ridge Ave. announced on its Facebook page that evening hours will be extending. Starting Jan. 7, Crossroads will be open an extra two hours every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 1) File insurance claims as soon as possible, if you haven't already done so. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners offers important advice and tips for filing your claim. The National Flood Insurance Program also provides information on filing a flood insurance claim. 2) The Small Business Administration offers several low-interest, long-term disaster loans to small businesses in declared disaster areas, including business physical disaster loans and economic injury disaster loans. Cash Mob Returns to Manayunk

Effort to rally around local businesses continues at The Little Apple.

A grassroots effort to support local businesses with "flash mob" like enthusiasm will return to Manayunk later this month. Cash Mob Philly hosts its next event at The Little Apple, 4353 Main St., Manayunk from 7 to 10 p.m. July 26. Essentially, organizers spread the word for people to patronize a specific local business(es) through social media. "Cash Mob Philly is about showing that local businesses have good deals, too, and the ripple effect from buying at a local business, who also supports the local economy, is huge. Zesto Pizza & Grill, with its original location at 6024 Ridge Ave., debuted a new pizza place in Maryland Tuesday, with another one on the way in Villanova. With its studio on Sharp Street, the decorative glass art company creates pieces larger and small for galleries, hotels or directly to art collectors.
