Two Roxborough residents get a special visit from Verizon on Valentine's Day.
Roxborough residents Joseph Vita and Devin Keck got special visits on Valentine's Day from Verizon because "nothing is less romantic than waiting to get your cable and internet installed." According to Verizon, both Vita and Keck had scheduled Verizon FiOS installations on Valentine's Day last week. According to Verizon: Dozens of new customers received a surprise visit from a team of FiOS Cupids yesterday. The Cupids dropped by to say thank you on behalf of Verizon FiOS and deliver special Valentine’s Day gifts including bouquets of roses, boxes of chocolates and Verizon swag. Getting a fun surprise beats sitting around waiting for the tech, right? And, the new customers from Roxborough adored the surprise

The votes are in and Heather McFeeley and her boyfriend John Lorentson have been named Patch’s Cutest Couple. McFeeley’s mother, Patty McFeeley, entered the couple in the Springfield Patch contest.
