Roxborough ShopRite Not Closing or Moving
The popular Roxborough grocery store will not be closing or moving its owner Jeff Brown said Thursday.
Jeff Brown owns the ShopRite on Ridge Ave. in Roxborough, and he showed up at the Ridge Park Civic Association meeting on Thursday to squash any rumors about ShopRite closing or moving.
"We've been here 25 years," Brown said. "We hope to be here forever."
Rumors of a ShopRite move had been circulated on several Philadelphia area blogs, but Brown said they were just rumors.
"We have no plans on moving or changing anything," Brown said. "the only we might be doing is upgrading our dairy cases and things like that."
"We have no plans to leave."
