Teachers: Jeff & Annie from Tiny Terra Ferma

In this workshop, you will learn how to plant and grow blueberries and strawberries - both in a container (perfect for urban dwellers), as well as in a backyard berry patch. We'll teach you about each berry's perfect growing conditions (sun, space, soil), pruning, and cultivation, as well as review what makes our native berry varieties so special. Then, we will help you to plant a berry bucket filled with a low bush blueberry and strawberry plant. Children are invited to this workshop and will plant and take away their own mini-berry bucket!
