$7,000 in Cell Phones Taken During Burglary, Police Said

Burglars took $7,000 worth of cell phones and accessories from the Verizon Wireless store in the Ivy ridge Shopping Center.

Over $7,000 in cell phones and accessories was stolen from the Verizon Wireless store located at 7126 Ridge Ave. on Aug. 1, police said.

At approximately 6:33 a.m., police arrived at the Verizon Wireless store located in the Ivy Ridge Shopping Center in response to a tripped burglary alarm.

Once they arrived on the scene, police found that the glass on the front door had been smashed.

Police did not find anyone inside the store, and the manager was notified.

The stolen items included four iPhone 5s, three Samsung Galaxy Notes, 5 Samsung Galaxy 4s and three Samsung Galaxy 3s, police said.

Police valued the stolen items at $7,100.
